Make Money From Discount Athletic Wear

There are a few ways to make money online from discount athletic wear, so I thought I'd take the occasion of the current European Indoor Athletics Championship in England to cover some of them.

Athletics wear can be expensive - because the market is not massive, the manufacturers can afford to keep their prices high. When you couple that in with the 'must have' brand coverage, the prices get hiked up further.

Athletics apparel like shoes do not last forever, they can wear out quickly in fact, and since only the very elite at world level make serious money from athletics, you can see why people want discount gear.

So, how can you profit from this online?

One way would be via the massive auction site, ebay. You could buy gear in bulk from end of line suppliers, and sell it off for a profit. The reason I don't like that method is that you have to invest upfront in the clothes before you can sell them.

Another way would be to become an affiliate for an existing site. With this method you wouldn't need any stock yourself, you wouldn't need a website, you just drive traffic to the company's site, and get commission from any sales. The reason I don't like this method is that you would have to get a lot of sales to make decent money, as the commission levels would be low. You'd also have to compete with all the other affiliates - great for the company, not so great for the affiliates.

You could always try and set up your own operation, but that would involve expense, setting up websites, and and ability to negotiate deals with the manufacturers that others will have already tried - it's my least favourite method!

My favourite method, and it's my favourite because it works, is to sell information. Information can be put together and distributed literally at no cost with today's technology.

The market is there for sure - anyone searching online for discount athletic wear will, by definition, be willing to consider information which helps them cover the cost.

Even better if you can give them information which could earn them more money than they ever get from the actual athletics, and enough to go and buy all the gear they want at full price!

Hopefully I have shown that although there are a few ways to make money online from discount athletic wear, the best, cheapest and easist way is via information products.
